My workshop is:

Texturizing with Sodium Silicate  (liquid glass)

When Sodium Silicate is applied to a cylinder while on the wheel, it creates a uniquely textured surface.  The workshop is hands on.  It encompasses demos, samples and glazing ideas.  There is a pre-requisite of the ability to throw cylinders.

Next workshop will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011  from 10 am--1 pm.

Fee: $25/Ceramic Center members.

Non Members: $45 (does not included firing)
