I will he hosting a workshop on Texturizing with Sodium Silicate at :

The class: Texturzing with Sodium Silicate. Sodium Silicate is liquid glass. It is applied to a cylinder while on the wheel & it creates an uniquely textured surface. This is a hands on class with demos, samples and glazing ideas. Pre-requisite:Ablility to throw a cylinder.

FEE: $25/ceramic members, $45/non-members (does not include glazing).

For the month of May 2011  I will be having a one person show of my pottery at the Huntington, New York Library.  The Main Branch.

I am part of a permanet installation at Suffolk County Community College, Michael Grant Campus in Brentwood, Long Island, New York.  There are two walls of relief tiles on permanet display.  The first wall is in the Captree Gallery at the Captree Commons.  My tile is on the second wall at the Sagtikos Arts & Sciences Center.  The wall is located by the box office of the Van Nostrand Theatre.  Check my wall tile page for more information.

 I have to tell you with a heavy heart that the gallery I was featured at is going to be going out of business.  There will no longer be a brick & mortar store but you can do business over the internet with Artastic Destination.
