Feats of Clay Pottery Studio

I am very excited to share this news with the folks who look at my website.  I have a handmade tile that is in a permanet installation on the Suffolk County Community College, Brentwood Campus. There are two walls of tiles.  One wall is in the Captree Gallery.  The second wall is at the Sagtikos Arts & Science Center building.  The second wall is where my tile is installed.  The wall is installed by the box office for the Van Nostrand Theatre. 

About the Images

All the tiles were handmade by art students at Suffolk County Community College, Brentwood Campus over the last ten years.

This was a multicultural tile project to celebrate Suffolk County Community College 50th anniversary year.  The wall is the compilation of 500 student sculptural relief tiles created over the past ten years under the tutelage of Michaelann Tostanoski, Professor of Visual Arts.

 If you have the chance you should stop by and take a look at it yourself.  My photos don't do it justice.  It is very impressive in person.  It is a sight to behold. 

The first wall of tiles is located on Suffolk County Community College, Michael J. Grant Campus, Brentwood, New York at the Captree Gallery, Captree Commons.

The second wall of tiles is located at the Sagtikos Arts & Sciences Center by the box office for the Van Nostrand Theatre.
